Home management for Swollen Legs and ankle

For today I would like to share how to overcome leg swelling and the method to prevent it.
There are many factors that can lead to swelling of the feet and most of the factors are water caused by swelling and inflammation surrounding the area.

The Swollen feet can be due to the following problems.

·         Gravity caused by prolonged standing or sitting too long
·         kidney failure
·         infection of the blood vessels
·         post operation on the lower limbs of the body
·         pregnant women
·         patients with diabetes and hypertension
·         Overweight or obesity
·         injuries to the lower body member
·         inflammation and inflammation in the lower limbs of the body.

What will happens when this swelling problem comes , sometimes it will give a sense of discomfort to the patient where there are patients who feel their feet heavy to the ground and feels like a gain weight. Sometime This problem can cause the patient has difficulty to moving and it will cause a  pain when walking in a long distant and when do a frequent or repetitive movement at leg.

The method and tips that I want to share here is the most basic and it can be done at home without using any medication, but you should know beforehand what the cause of this problem swollen feet. Most of the time the Swollen feet can be solved in several ways

1. The most common and easy method to do is Elevation or elevate the legs when lying down position, the arrangement of the level it must be  higher than chest level, we can use two pillows placed under the tip of the foot or hamstring, leave this position in the 2 hours, and its effects will appear immediately.

2.In hospital most of the patient undergo surgery  the Usage compression stockings, it is one more way that can help, but use this stocking is done in advance because the size of each size has a different intensity and also it has a different pressure.

3.One of my favorite  is a  massage treatment  and that is easy to  provides a better potential, the technique of effleurage and stroking technique is a great  technique that helps in reduction of swelling and often it is done on foot was taken to the thigh, it aims to help reverse the process water to the liver and kidneys.

5. Don’t forget to do a simple Exercise on your legs. The function is to helps pump fluid from your legs back to your heart in a natural way.

6. A healthy and proper diet is important to understand as Follow a low-salt diet, which may reduce fluid buildup and swelling especially when we have a kidney problem or doing any surgery .

7.Medication taken as advice, it will usually be given by Dr to help patients reduce the composition of the water in the body as an example Lasix, but each medication should follow the directions Dr and Never stop taking any medicines you think may be causing swelling without first talking to your health care provider

8. Most of the time I always inform my patient to deal a good and ideal weight or lose weight if their need to

The most important thing to understand is your treatment will focus on the cause of the swelling. Your provider or Dr may prescribe diuretics to reduce the swelling, but these can have side effects and this Home treatment for leg swelling that is not related to a serious medical condition should be tried before drug therapy.
